Music

Music and song has always been a part of Upper Island Cove. There are brass bands, rock bands, folk groups and it has always been that way. Years ago this was one of the very few forms of entertainment and much of the music and stories were passed down generation to generation. Unfortunately, much of the folk music was never written down, much of the music has died with the songwriters.
