Mr. Tony Mercer has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and a Technology Education Diploma, both from Memorial University . Mr. Mercer spent five years teaching Math at North Shore Collegiate in Northern Bay. In June 2002, North Shore Collegiate closed its doors and he joined us as a member of the Math Department at Ascension. Mr. Mercer has already piloted several of the new Math courses integrated by the Department of Education and readily accepts such challenges. Mr. Mercer was born and raised in Bay Roberts and was also a graduate of Ascension (although things have changed since the "old days"!). Can you find his picture on the Ascension walls?
