Ball Hockey Classic
Ascension
annually hosts the 30 teams. Ascension Collegiate Ball Hockey Classic.
This tournament is growing each year and is in the process of being
sanctioned by the High School Athletic Federation. The tournament
is comprised of threee divisions - Male(A) Male (B) and Female.
Teams from around the province - some as far away as Burgeo or Bay
D'Espoir travel to compete.
Prizes are awarded to
winning teams as well as Sportsmanship winners for each team. Tournament
is usually held in late May. In preparation for the tournament,
some Ascension entries usually practice on a year round basis.
